Arden E. Shenker is listed in the pre-eminent legal directories and Who's Who in American Law. He is "the lawyer's lawyer." He pioneered new fields of the law and has obtained record-setting verdicts and decisions. He was special assistant attorney general, to lead the state of Montana's siting of billion dollar electric power generating facilities.
Mr. Shenker is a former Senior Partner at Tooze, Kerr, Peterson, & Shenker in Portland. He is a graduate of Stanford University and Yale Law School.
Mr. Shenker serves as the Ethics Committee Chair of the American Bar Association Section on Energy, Environment and Resources. He was a founding President of the Owen M. Panner American Inn of Court and of the American Leadership Forum. He served as chair of the Lawyers' Delegation to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Judicial Conference. Mr. Shenker is a frequent lecturer on legal education, and his writings have appeared in various publications; he served as an adjunct professor at Lewis and Clark Law School. He was a presidential appointee to the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday Commission.
